I’ll probably catch shit for this but, I find in beyond stupid that people are giving Abercrombie shit for marketing to skinny people. They are a store allowed to sell whatever they want to whom so ever buys it. They are not suppose to pat you on the head and make you feel better, if you don’t like the stuff the sell or the general direction of the company then don’t shop there. There is nothing more or less to it, but to be offended because you suddenly aren’t the target audience is childish.The notion that skinny is beautiful and cool is kinda bullshit but society has sorta already deemed that true. It’s not like Abercrombie just told you something you didn’t know a week ago, you knew they marketed to skinny people only and you knew that skinny kids generally are more popular than fat ones in school. Don’t act shocked like the world changed and don’t act like they have to suddenly stop doing what they are doing cause you don’t like it. This is a capitalist country, love it or hate it, they are selling to a market and that market buys. Sorry you aren’t the market, go find a store that you are the market for. I say all of this with the very real understanding that I’m not the market niche either and I’m not mad at them, I don’t shop at Abercrombie for a reason.
